Allan is a star! I am not the easiest patient and he has managed to allay the panic mode I used to be in at every check up!  Furthermore he has a calm, friendly manner whose passion for his field is clearly shown in his knowledge as he thoroughly explains all necessary treatment.  I even followed him to his new practice for treatment as he identified a problem with a route canal from a previous dentist as I had been experiencing problems for 2 years.  Following his advice and specialist treatment all problems with this tooth have been eliminated, I am now pain free and have an excellent new crown.  Allan offers a first class service and I would recommend anyone who is unsure or anxious to go and see him.  I trust that he will always do a great job and in the words of my 10 year old son ‘he is awesome’!

I am 76 years old and value every tooth which I have left at my age.  The tooth which had been causing me great agony was one which I was reluctant to lose.  I was referred to Dr Matthews by Dr Puri as the one person within the Practice who could possibly save it, but I, personally, was very pessimistic that it could be saved.  At every point of my treatment with Dr Matthews I underlined that he must do what he professionally felt was feasible, simply because at my age one does not feel confident to ask for "too much".

I can honestly say, from the minute I was laid back in his dentist chair, I was never in any doubt that his sole purpose was in his commitment as a dentist in doing his job, no matter what one's age.  That feeling, although I am quite sure he would not be aware of it, was very important to me personally.   I cannot, at this stage, thank him enough for his professionalism, his candour while administering the treatment and his caring personality.  His personal approach and respectful treatment of his patients bodes well for his future.
